THE WHY
WE WORK with incredible people who unfortunately struggle with mental health and cognitive impairment. The same client is not the same every day, and each situation will be different.

OUR PHILOSOPHY is based on the principles of connection, empowerment, and service. Connections are not made - Connections are formed. The best service we can ever provide to clients is active listening; Summarizing, Checking, Paraphrasing, Acknowledging, Appropriate body language. Each client deserves an individualized approach while working towards their style of independence.

INFORMATION
GUARDIAN
A LEGAL guardian is a person appointed by the court to make healthcare and primarily other non-monetary decisions for someone who cannot make these types of decisions because of an injury, illness, or disability. I specialize in mental health guardianships / Rogers Monitor appointments.
ROGERS
MONITOR
IF A PROTECTED person is prescribed antipsychotic medications, both a guardian and a Rogers Monitor are appointed by the court. A Rogers Monitor ensures the protected person accurately receives the prescribed antipsychotic medication listed in the court-approved treatment plan. A guardian and a Rogers Monitor are TWO separate appointments.
CONSERVATOR
A CONSERVATOR is appointed by the court to manage a protected person's finances when he or she cannot make these types of decisions because of an illness, injury, or disability. They must observe the standards of care applicable to trustees. A conservator encourages and includes the client in the decision-making process.
PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE
A PERSONAL representative gathers and inventories the deceased’s estate, including debts and financial assets (bank accounts, personal property, ect.). The personal representative settles outstanding valid debts, files income taxes, and distributes the assets to the beneficiaries.

The experience of being part of their care was rewarding. As my knowledge grew, so did the number of clients. I am grateful for the privilege to advocate for some of the Commonwealth's most vulnerable clients. I genuinely love what I do.”
